Well, last week was a very busy week!!
After two months of deadlines and projects for various competitions and open briefs, I started work on a brand new look for my website. (Please let me know what you think of it, I hope you like it!)
I will soon be adding more media and new work onto the website and will be writing some more blog post’s too!
Later on in the week, I received the wonderful and totally unexpected news that I have come 3rd place in the @Makeitindesign
summer ‘Patternbombing Challenge’!
I am so excited about this and so grateful! I had a great time mocking up my ‘Patternbomb’
I completed Module 2 and 3 of The ‘Make it in Design’ courses a couple of years ago, so to be picked as a winner by them was fantastic news. I have won a place onto the upcoming Module 1 starting later on this month, so very excited about that, and I will be posting more about my experience of the course once it starts.
Everyone’s entries were so beautiful and full of life, showing Landmarks from across the globe, click the following link to see more fantastic design’s from the competition!
This was my entry for the competition, click on the image below, I took the photo on a London Tour bus a few months ago, not knowing it would come in so handy later on! The pattern I decorated Tower Bridge with is ‘Bee Garden’ (to see more of this Pattern have a look in the ‘Portfolio
‘ part of the website.)
